The Congressional Award
The Congressional Award is a public private partnership created by Congress to promote and recognize achievement, initiative, and service in America's youth. The Congressional Award provides a unique opportunity for young people to set and achieve personally challenging goals that build character and foster community service, personal development, and citizenship.

Congratulations 2008 Recipients!
On April 19th 2008, 16 SLIA students received bronze, silver, and gold congressional medals in Jefferson City Missouri. Because so many St. Louis Irish Arts students have worked hard to meet the rigid criteria to receive these bronze, silver, and gold medals from the United States Congress, Missouri ranks as the highest number of young recipients in the country.
